Lisa Simon received her BFA in 2001, from the University of Louisville, where she concentrated in painting and printmaking. In 2002, she was awarded a distinguished Fellowship at Michigan State University. After graduating in 2005 with a dual MFA degree in painting and ceramics, Lisa moved back to Louisville to give birth to the silliest baby ever, her daughter Sophie. She continues to create art in all of these media at her studio in Louisville, KY. Outside the studio she applies these talents and experiences to teaching creative processes to adults and children.
